About the Workshops

Join us in Wimberley, just southwest of Austin for an inspiring, intimate retreat of listening, learning, writing and playing with renowned Texas music icon Ian Moore. This retreat includes the program led by Ian, meals and snacks along with separately paid accommodations at the beautiful Wimberley Inn https://wimberleyinn.com where we will take advantage of their charming facilities surrounded by nature including five acres with various outside seating areas, a Zen garden and a nature trail.

These retreats provide an opportunity to un-plug, relax and commune with like-minded souls, finding inspiration in collaboration amidst the beautiful surroundings in the hill country along with private performances by Ian and the opportunity to jam with everyone involved.

Tuition is $800 with returning participants receiving a $100 discount. A 50% deposit holds your spot with the remainder to be paid by September 15th. Tuition will include the entire program plus your meals and then you will book your accommodations directly with the Wimberley Inn. Due to the nature of the program and meal program with the Inn, we prefer for everyone to stay onsite if possible. If you’re looking for someone to share a room with, let us know and we will help network for you or feel free to post on Ian’s FB page! Availability and Rates at the Wimberley Inn are as follows:

On Saturday the schedule will run from 9 am through the evening with numerous breaks for meals and a jam session with Ian after dinner. Sunday will begin at 9 am and will finish up around 3 followed by performances by attendees and Ian (performance optional but encouraged!) at the Cypress Creek Café live music venue and optional dinner afterwards for those who can remain until Sunday evening.
