The biggest thing for me was playing a song I wrote with my biggest influence in Music - Ian Moore. Wow just frickin’ amazing.

It was great to see some old friends and make new ones, I have to say that there have always been great songs from everyone that has gone to the workshops, but this year was special, every song was great!. This is a great community you have created and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

Expectations exceeded, for sure. I went looking for a higher pursuit than a ‘rock and roll fantasy camp’ or ‘a weekend with Ian Moore’ thing and I found it.

Exceeded my expectations, by far!

I really liked working with Ian on my tune, and listening to Ian's stories, experiences, and advice.

I think the best part of this is by far the people.  All of them.  And their overwhelming support and respect for each other.  It's incredible and I don't think I've seen anything like it anywhere else in my life.

Group energy seems to foster creativity - and a retreat format helps to get laser focus.

Thank you to everyone involved.  This was a life-changing experience for me, and without the incredible dedication of the staff, it wouldn’t have been quite as special.

The themes of “flexibility” and “tuning out distractions” have stayed with me since.  I’ve been more playful with my own writing, focusing on having fun and not taking myself so seriously … There were also unexpected aspects that I really enjoyed like the jams at night and Cass’ energy work.  I came out of the weekend with many new friends, a new song, and a stronger drive to write more.
